• You mentioned coffee?

  Correct! The Freeland Community Hall has allowed us use of their kitchen. We will be offering light refreshements in the form of coffee, tea, maybe juice or pop, and chips or popcorn.

• Who is hosting this event?

  Daniel and Maggie. We are just people from the area, with too many board games and no one to play them with. This event is not connected to any organization. The Freeland Community Hall has offered this space, and we are hoping to attract people from in and around the Lot 11 community.

• What board games do you have?

  Too many for me to list right now, and not as many as I want! Some of the games we plan to bring with us: Betrayal at House on the Hill, Apples to Apples, Play Nine, Catan, Jenga, Sequence, Carcassonne, Marrying Mr. Darcy, Catacombs of Karak, some decks of cards

• Is this a kid friendly event?

  Yes. While this event is aimed more at older children and adults, there will be a number of games which can be played by/with children. We do not at this time have any games specifically for 6 years and under, although a couple of games require little or no reading.
